Welcome to the Saratoga Springs Police PBA web page. The PBA is a fraternal organization that also represents the members of the Saratoga Springs Police Department in its negotiations with the City of Saratoga Springs. The PBA is comprised of 11 Sergeants, 13 Investigators, and 42 Patrolman. The PBA also includes all retired members of the Saratoga Springs Police Department and Associate Members of the organization. The PBA is active in our community through donations to various organizations and by sponsoring events such as the PBA D.A.R.E. Christmas Party and also a yearly fishing tournament with the Saratoga Springs Fire Department I.A.F.F. that benefits the youth of our community.

The PBA is also part of larger police organizations with the goals improving the conditions that police officer’s work in. The PBA is a proud member of the Police Conference of New York, a statewide organization made up of fellow unions that strives to improve working conditions through lobbying efforts in the New York State Legislature. The PBA is also a member of the Northeastern Police Conference, a local organization that assists other members within the Capital District. The PBA is proud to be a member of both of these fine organizations and will continue to support the efforts of these organizations with its membership.

The PBA owns 32 acres of property on Weibel Ave. which includes an out door firing range that is used by its members for personal practice and also official Saratoga Springs Police Department qualification. Also located on the property is a softball field which is the official home of the Spa Catholic Girls Softball team, and several lacrosse fields that are the new home of the Saratoga Youth Lacrosse League. The property also includes a meeting hall that hosts numerous events and training activities by the Saratoga Springs Police Department.
